The Pumping House is a mix old meets new, keeping a lot of its original features including the distinctive chimney and internal brickwork but mixing it with a cool, new chic vibe, that is like no other, set over two impressive floors you can hold a civil ceremony in the Ollerton room with its old style chapel chairs and beautiful flooring and then move between the hidden gems of this venue, its quirky little themed rooms, including the cinema room and the botanical 'gin' room, before moving down to the main engine hall with its 50ft high glass ceiling which once was the heart of the pumping station and housed the main engine. It can now be the heart of the wedding, accommodating up to 150 for a sit down wedding breakfast and then through to the evening reception with its own beautiful bar area and dance floor space. There is actually not 1 but 3 bar areas that can be used for a variety of drink receptions and the events team love nothing more than working with couples to achieve a truly one off experience for their day. The Pumping House prides itself on being an exclusive use venue, and is delighted to announce accommodation in the form of 10 beautiful luxury suites, all self-catering and with double beds completing in February 2018.
