Set amongst picturesque Hampshire countryside, close to the Surrey and West Sussex borders, The Barn at Bury Court offers an idyllic setting for your wedding day. Thoughtfully converted, the barn boasts contemporary facilities while maintaining the charm of a traditional threshing barn with beautiful oak beams.

Licensed for civil ceremonies, couples are invited to tie the knot at the gallery end of the barn, cleverly divided from the main dining area with elegant, long curtains. Equally suited for more intimate weddings, or seating up to 150, this tasteful ceremony space has ample room for musicians – perhaps a string quartet or harpist to play as you walk down the aisle.

After your ‘I do’ moment, enjoy welcome drinks and canapés in the barn itself, or outside on the terrace of the enchanting walled garden. This wonderful space is a show garden, and provides a fabulous backdrop for photographs as your guests enjoy the tranquility of the great outdoors.

When it comes to the wedding breakfast, celebrations take place in the impressive main hall of the barn. Perfect at all times of the year, the barn is filled with light during summer months, and heated in winter. We invite you to dine in the central area of the barn, leaving ample space for a bar area, evening buffet, dance floor and perhaps a few enticing extras such as a Pick-and-Mix or dessert table. Upstairs, a further area can be used, perhaps as a ‘chill out’ are or for additional entertainment in the form of a casino or photo booth. As the sun goes down, adorn the beams with fairy lights and dance the night away.

Weddings in The Barn at Bury Court are catered for by the talented team at Jacaranda Catering. Offering a wide range of mouth-watering menus, their staff will organise every element of your wedding catering, from delicious canapés to those all-important details such as Champagne and cake stands. You might even like the idea of an evening hog roast or barbecue on the tree-lined courtyard.

When it’s time to kick off those dancing shoes, the bride and groom can book the stylish flat in the Oast House for the night of the wedding – the perfect end to a magical day.
