Felicity Harvest, Humanist Ceremonies

Humanist wedding ceremonies are personal, innovative and designed with and for the couple. I work throughout London and the South East, and often further afield, providing bespoke, secular ceremonies. As well as working in conventional wedding venues, I also work in less conventional spaces, including private gardens, beaches, woodland, farms and campsites. Humanists weddings put the couple at the heart of the ceremony, and celebrate their love, their families and their stories.

What they said about my ceremonies:

"Felicity is a beautiful person who truly listened to our personal story and focused her attention upon ensuring we were absolutely satisfied. She was incredibly supportive and helpful with our hand-fasting ceremony including helping source ribbons and even supplying some when we struggled. She made us both feel completely at ease and reassured that we had chosen the right person to conduct our wedding ceremony."

"Felicity was amazing, not just for the ceremony but all the prep behind it that took so much stress away from us. We were completely at ease from the moment we met Felicity and came away from our initial meeting knowing that we'd made the right choice. We've had so many positive comments about the ceremony and I think that it was my favorite part of the day!"

"Felicity was available and friendly from the moment we met her and encouraged us to meet the day before the ceremony for a rehearsal which really helped us with nerves and to get more excited for the big day! So many guests commented on what an amazing ceremony it was due to it relaxed, personal and romantic nature."

"Felicity was incredibly warm enthusiastic and full of great ideas that made our wedding, special. She captured everything about our story that we wanted to share with family and friends and relayed it beautifully. We had so many comments about what a wonderful ceremony it was, many said the best they had ever been to. It inspired one of our guests to renew their own wedding vows with a humanist celebrant!"

Please note that at present Humanist ceremonies carry legal weight in Scotland and Northern Ireland, but not in England and Wales - hopefully this will soon change. In the meantime, most couples I marry do a simple register office wedding a few days before, and the Humanist ceremony is the real ceremony.
