Sitting on 9 acres of land on a rocky hill with majestic views over Northumberland coast, Bamburgh Castle is one of the largest inhabited castles in the country. The immense fortification of Bamburgh Castle is located on volcanic dolerite land. Famous locally as whinstone for the sounds made when hit by a stonemason's hammer, it offers a natural royal chair upon which this venue sits 45 metres above sea level.

Bamburgh Castle's exclusive position overlooking vast views of incredible coastline gives a spectacular background for your wedding day. Choose from two licensed rooms for up to 150 guests wedding ceremonies. The splendour of the King's Hall, which was restored as the castle's centrepiece by Lord Armstrong in the 19th century, or the atmospheric Keep Hall with vaulted ceilings and flagged stone floors which remind one of times of knights and princesses.
