The Globe is a sixteenth century coaching inn set in the beautiful estuary town of Topsham just four miles from Exeter City centre. The Inn has recently undergone a sympathetic renovation to restore and update the historic
building whilst retaining its authentic character. The result is a comfortable blend of old and new, creating an atmosphere which is relaxed, informal and individual. Decorated with rich textures and colours the relaxing interiors ooze character. It offers a great escape for relaxation or romance.
The Malt House is a tranquil, vintage style function room and is ideal for a small intimate wedding reception. The Malt House can cater for up to 60 guests for a sit down wedding breakfast or for up to 70 guests for a more informal buffet style wedding reception. Topsham is a beautiful estuary town and an ideal location for the perfect backdrop for your wedding photos.
Food is one of the most important aspects of any wedding reception and our team of talented chefs will ensure that your chosen menu is prepared with care and flair to create a truly memorable wedding breakfast for you and your guests. We can offer a variety of menus to suit every taste and we can accommodate requests for specific dishes wherever possible.
Your wedding breakfast will normally start with a welcome drinks reception for your guests and for that extra special touch, why not treat your guests to a selection of our homemade canapés?
In order to help you budget for your wedding reception we have compiled three drinks packages which include an arrival drink wine during the meal and a drink for the toast. These are however, suggestions only – we are more than happy to tailor-make a drinks package to suit your specific requirements. Our 19 non-smoking, en-suite bedrooms are furnished to a high standard and are equipped with all the facilities that you would expect to make your stay comfortable. We are pleased to offer specially reduced accommodation rates for guests attending your wedding.
