The ruins of this historic Church would be an unforgettable, unique and beautiful place to celebrate your wedding.

Holding no more than 6 weddings a year the Church is a very exclusive venue for your special day.

The Italianate Church built for the Royal Artillery in 1865 was largely destroyed by a V1 flying bomb in June 1944. The east end, including the VC memorial and the famous Venetian mosaics have survived and been restored by specialised craftsmen.

There is now a magnificent arched tensile canopy roof protecting these mosaics over the east end. The main body of the Church is presently a memorial garden and creates a peaceful open air space for your special day. We have a recommended local supplier that we work with to provide a marquee service.

The whole complex is listed Grade ll and we are opposite the great façade of Woolwich Barracks on Grand Depot Road.

With our newly planted garden beginning to bloom, St George's Garrison Church provides an unforgettable backdrop to your special day.

Please do not hesitate to contact us with any queries or if you would like to arrange a viewing.
