Set on the Wiltshire/ Dorset border, in an area of outstanding natural beauty, the Larmer Tree was created by General Augustus Pitt Rivers in 1880 and is an extraordinary example of Victorian extravagance.

The 11 acres are available for your exclusive use and Civil Ceremonies can be held in any of the four ornate buildings, but we have total flexibility whatever the weather!

We can accommodate almost any style of wedding, for a maximum of 150 guests and our in-house caterers will serve your choice of delicious food. Party the night away in the company of your friends and family until 12.30am.

We also offer intimate Secret Garden Weddings, held midweek Monday to Thursday, for a maximum of 30 guests. You can choose a building for your ceremony and we provide a marquee on the main lawn for your afternoon on the lawn, with garden games and a choice of food. Peacocks and free flying Macaws complete the enchanting and tranquil atmosphere.
