Carswell Farm is a truly unique location for a field marquee wedding on a large, level site. Your wedding is totally unique and we don't ask that you use any specified suppliers - so you have total control to design the wedding of your dreams. We do recommend a local marquee company, Hatch Marquees, who provide fabulous, bespoke, clear-frame marquees so that you can have a wedding of any size, for any number of guests, tailor-made to suit your requirements. Hatch can provide you with all the associated equipment (toilets and generators) and wedding furniture hire, to make sure you have a fully functional venue ready for your celebration. We can also help you with a selection of great local and organic suppliers, so you get the best of what the area has to offer for your wedding day.

We have 6 beautiful holiday cottages very close by that you and your guests can rent for the week or weekend to make the whole wedding a more relaxed experience! These range from a splendid Georgian Farmhouse sleeping 11/14 to a delightful barn conversion for 2 (perfect for the honeymooners) and so we can offer a cottage to suit all your requirements. Carswell Farm is a working organic dairy farm and so the whole area around us is managed sensitively for the wildlife and the environment - so don't be surprised if you see a peregrine falcon or barn owl out hunting or a hare running through the grass.
