The family home of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert, Osborne House was built in the Italianate style and is home to numerous artefacts from the Royal Collection. You and your guests will be following in the footsteps of royalty and dignitaries from all over the world when you host your special day at this stunning location. The amazing garden terraces with magnificent views down to the sea, the secluded bay and the beautiful walled garden, which features the original porch, will spoil you for choice of unique backdrops to capture your big day.

The Duchess of Kent suite is perfect for a small dinner for up to 30 guests or a drinks reception for up to 80. All of the rooms have views out over the garden terraces, gardens and Solent beyond. The largest room features French doors which open directly out on to the garden terraces. The Victoria Hall, once Queen Victoria’s private chapel, is now the beautiful dining room at Osborne. Featuring exquisite stained glass decoration in the windows and beautifully arched windows overlooking the garden terraces, it’s the perfect spot for enjoying drinks on a balmy summers evening. The ornate lamps around the room and chandeliers create that added touch of magic as the light fades. The room is the perfect setting to enjoy your wedding breakfast and can seat up to 100 guests. The Orangery also features beautiful arched windows that lead out on to the garden terraces. The beautiful marble bar and large glazed mirrors add a touch of elegance and sophistication to the room. The Orangery is ideal for retiring after dinner and supplements the Duchess of Kent suite and Victoria Hall as a small bar area.

The Durbar Room, with its spectacular Indian-inspired carved white plaster ceilings and walls, will leave you and your guests with treasured memories. The magnificent banqueting table will seat up to 24 of your guests amidst a glittering collection of treasures given to Queen Victoria. The room will comfortably seat between 60 and 80 guests.

The Durbar Lawn lies adjacent to the house and garden terraces. The house makes a magnificent backdrop for a marquee and will amaze your guests when it is floodlit as daylight fades. The lawn also enjoys those beautiful views across the garden terraces and gardens with the Solent in the background. The lawn can accommodate a marquee for up to 2,500 guests.
