Chillington Hall is a hidden gem on the Staffordshire/Shropshire borders between the villages of Brewood and Codsall. The enchanting 18th century Georgian house, is a product of two differing Georgian styles and has been the home of the Giffard family since 1178. The Saloon, typical of a Sir John Soane design, features a soaring ceiling topped by a great lantern with beautiful plasterwork incorporating the family coat of arms and motto.

Civil Ceremonies at this exclusive venue are held for up to 120 in the Saloon in front of a huge fireplace, surrounded by history and your nearest and dearest. Drinks receptions and those all important photographs can take place on the grand front steps of the Hall, in the sumptuous drawing room, on the sweeping staircase or in the acres of landscaped grounds which includes a stunning lake.

Wedding Breakfasts can be an intimate affair in the dining room (seats 24) or in the Saloon (seats 80), with a grand piano available in the Saloon, why not consider a vintage afternoon tea with some live music? Our in house catering team are able to offer a huge selection of creative canapés or delicious tailor made menus, all from local producers and suppliers..

If you decide to have an evening reception, the party moves over to a newly converted barn called the Cowshed at Woodhall Farm, which is accessed with a simply stunning drive through the park past our lake. Here you can have a barn dance, a BBQ or Hog Roast if you fancy as this is a DIY venue to create whatever you want.
